    Story

Hi , my name's Adam and I'm part of a team doing our best to raise money for remote community of 2500 in Nagaland, Myanmar who are dying from a deadly infectious disease.

The doctors are saying that they have identified the outbreak as Measles, but 42 people have lost their lives already, and as a result we want to try and raise as much money as possible, because this is one of the poorest areas in the world - often called "the forgotten land".

The condition is terrible. There is vomit in the blood, vicious rashes that envelope the skin of babies, children and adults alike.

In Myanmar, many people claim Naga is one of the most spectacular plcaes, but it's also one of the remote and poorest areas in the world.
As a result of it's remote-ness, people have little or no health care support.

The roads are bad, the education levels are low, and right now it is in the middle of one of the heaviest Monsoons seasons in the world - This is why it took the doctor one week, on foot, to reach some of the most affected communities.
This situation is so bad that just yesterday, the moment local government state that they couldn't visit victims because that they couldn't afford gas for their motorbikes.

The most important way we can help today is by helping to raise $20'000 for the affected communities. Just Giving has reached those kinds of figures before....but I think I'm being fair when I say that we can absolutely 100% smash that target now!

Thank you for your time and please consider donating to help these people today.

    Our kindest regards.

Here is a NY times article on the condition.
