I've recently moved house and at the bottom of my road there's a homeless shelter. On our days off work my brother and I volunteer there, there's not much we can do to help these people due to lack of funding! All we can do it offer them some blankets a hot drink and sometimes a hot meal, and just someone to talk to! That's why I'm here. We really need some funding so we actually have the chance to help these people! It's Christmas soon and it would be incredible if we had enough funding by then to have a Christmas dinner for all the people that come to us at the shelter, it is a time for everyone to come and be together after all!
