Hello, I'm Hester. I can't see but can ski.

To do this competitively I need a guide to ski with me and to get to the highest level I need expert coaching.

My race team - The Outspan Rebels - are a team of Visually Impaired skiers of all ages who need to fund their own coaching and guiding costs in order to compete and progress. This enables us to compete and to meet our own personal goals but it also inspires others who might think that their options are limited by disability. Please help us show everyone that we can all reach our potential.

I love to race because I love to go FAST. I also like all sorts of other sports and activities but it can be difficult to get access to things for my age group that I can join.

MY CHALLENGE
I have set myself the challenge of attempting an A-Z sports with the goal of 100 activities (both adaptive and mainstream) in 100 days between May and September 2017 and hope to gain sponsorship for this attempt.

Part of my challenge is about awareness raising in my community so that more sports and activities can be made accessible to me and other children like me. I really hope that eventually we might be able to start some blind/vi sports in my home town of Bath.
