Weʼve raised £14,730 to Challenge the TRO on Hexham Lane

    Location
    County Durham, United Kingdom
    Time left
Funded on Saturday, 22nd August 2015

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Hexham Lane is an iconic and important Green Road that links Northumberland and County Durham. In 2015 it became subject to a permanent Traffic Regulation Order by Durham County Council. It's history as an important vehicular right of way has been extinguished. This is unfair, unjust and unnecessary.

If you would like to know a bit more about the campaign and how your money will be used, read this latest TRF article: http://www.trf.org.uk/save-hexham-lane/ Hopefully see you on Hexham Lane at some point in the not too distant future... This morning I woke up worrying IF we would hit our £10k target. Tonight I will go to sleep imagining how much MORE than £10k we can raise by Friday. Amazing! Thank you so much to every person and group that has got us here. More updates to follow once the week is over : )

Hi Graham, thank you for your support. The lane has a permanent TRO on it so it's not legal. We hope to overturn this.
