How many of us have hijabs, abayahs and niqabs stored in our wardrobes that we haven’t worn before or don’t even need? Not having to worry about being able to afford a hijab or whether we will receive backlash for wearing one, is a luxury many of our Gambian mothers and sisters don’t have.

Western and social media influence plays a big role in moving these girls further away from hijab; and an increasing number of them are choosing to abandon covering all together.

Hijabs4DEEN want to change this sad reality. Our aim is to educate these women of the Sunnah, instill a love of hijab in their hearts, and make Islamic clothing easily accessible for all women, young sisters and girls.

Fatimah, CEO of Hijabs4DEEN and her team (who reside in The Gambia and U.K.) are on the grounds giving dawah to these women and ensuring your donations get to those in need.

We are appealing for funding to cover barrel shipping costs from the UK, and the purchasing of brand new Islamic clothing for our beloved sisters.
