Very recently Tameside has seen some severe weather and sadly we as a Farm have been affected by such storms over the winter period causing lots of damage to our lovely little riding school.

Our main damage has been the loss of our party room and seating area for our young riders and visitors. A vital building that during the winter acted as a dry seating area but also our events room throughout the year. As a small family run business this is a significant loss to us, and we have already had to cancel a couple of small events planned in the short term which will ultimately cause us extra financial strain.

From seeing the roof in the field along with parts of the summerhouse, damage to the perimeter fencing that keeps our ponies safe and then to finding leaks and damages to the main stable block has just been devastating. As with lots of things costs have increased and our main focus and priority is always the wellbeing of our horses and ponies and the children and visitors to our little farm. No property is perfect and there is always room for improvement but without this particular building it will be detrimental to the Riding School and our offering throughout 2024.

The new room will not only provide a reception, educational and eventing space but also it will facilitate the heart of the farm, running of the business, the first aid area & health and safety equipment and the space that's required to continue the growth and stability of the school. Our riding school represents a small community, a warm, comforting and fun filled environment where anyone is welcome that we live day in day out.

As a team and small community we are now undertaking an urgent effort to fundraise for a new outbuilding that will be a multifunctional space to house our reception area, education and events space. Our events are due resume in the month of March 2024 and we are hoping to raise as much as possible to get back up and running for then.
