Hello, this is following on from my facebook activity regarding Lennart who is homeless in Gran Canaria. Lennart is in his late 60s.

Lennart has dedicated his life to helping others and worked in the social services sector in Sweden for 20 years. Somehow he has lost his way on his life journey and has been in Gran Canaria for the past four years.

Unfortunately, he now finds himself homeless. His feet have swollen so much due to walking around Gran Canaria with little water for hydration that he has developed open sores that have become infected and is now finding it difficult to walk. All his documentation including passport was stolen so makes the process even more difficult.

I have been feeding him day and night and giving him fresh clothes but he is in desperate need of medical attention, regular access to hot food and cleaning facilities and most importantly secure shelter.

I am currently searching for his family in the hope that they can reunite together but in the mean time I am concerned for his health and wellbeing.

I hope that this campaign will be successful in helping Lennart to get back into society. My ultimate goal is to get something set up to help everyone that's in need on the South side of the Island but my first aim is the wellbeing of Lennart.
