Story
Huntly is a beautiful town in rural Aberdeenshire. We have a rich heritage with a central Square lit by heritage style cast iron lighting. Six months ago the local council announced that the lights were unsafe and had to be removed. The community have rallied together and local businesses Motive Fabricators, eblast and R&M have offered support to fabricate new columns to secure them for another 70 years, properly clean and repaint the lights and also help with transportation. There are still unfortunately other costs involved to complete the task, each of the 10 lamp posts will cost £2000 to fully upgrade make future proof while reflecting our wonderful heritage. Any donation big or small you can make to save our lamps would be greatfully received. Lets keep Huntly Town Square beautiful.
