What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Jason, the man at the centre of the most famous love story in Sheffield's history, is about to become homeless, whilst property developers continue to gain from his courageous act of undying love. This could be another sad story of profit over people. Or together we could change it into one of human kindness, love and people power. Help Jason buy a home by donating as little or as much as you can and sharing his story. There are 515,000 people living in Sheffield, even if each person gave just £1 we could buy Jason 4 flats!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and sent advice/well wishes. I am still prohibited from giving further information at this time, however I can say that Jason decided to donate the money raised to The Archer Project (http://www.archerproject.org.uk/) in Clare Middleton's name. Jason said: “When I was kicked out of care and kicked out of my mum and Dad's, I was left with nothing. I knocked on the cathedral door and the vicar/Bishop, gave me £20 to buy footwear as I had none. I was in socks. The memory has stuck with me."

Brilliant campaign Alice - it's shocking that Urban Splash and others should profit so greatly by using someone else's artwork - I think the likes of Banksy would have something to say about that!
