A huge thank you to everyone who donated and sent advice/well wishes. I am still prohibited from giving further information at this time, however I can say that Jason decided to donate the money raised to The Archer Project (http://www.archerproject.org.uk/) in Clare Middleton's name. Jason said: “When I was kicked out of care and kicked out of my mum and Dad's, I was left with nothing. I knocked on the cathedral door and the vicar/Bishop, gave me £20 to buy footwear as I had none. I was in socks. The memory has stuck with me."
