Story

Friends and family know i'm a keen runner, and my plan is to run Tokyo Marathon, followed by Southampton Half marathon and London marathon dressed as a Rubix cube to raise awareness and money for my two chosen charities.

I have always wanted to say I am a Guinness World Records holder and as I missed my opportunity last year I am trying again this spring going for two records.

Plan Japan and their campaign of “ Run for Girls ” is the slogan of Plan International x Running. Since 2012 , Plan International Japan have been running alongside many runners and supporting girls in developing countries for Tokyo Marathon Charity. I have chosen to support this great charity and hope to do them proud by running a good time in Tokyo Marathon.

The second charity is closer to home (and work) in Southampton Hospitals Charity. I am going to put 50% of the money raised towards their current campaign to provide play equipment for children when they stay in the hospital. Unfortunately, play is not a funded NHS provision, so relies entirely on charitable donations costing around £50,000 each year.

The total money you help me to raise will be split 50% / 50% between the two charities, so - Please help me get to my target :-)
