Over £7K in 30 days when only a few hundred was ever expected! Heartfelt thanks from Sarah & annoyance at being treated like a charity case from Shedsy. Quite right too, Sheds! I am overwhelmed at the strength of feeling from all over the world. This is a great tribute to a great man and a very pleasing indication of the strength of support he can expect. Sarah asked me to update everyone without the sugar coating. Shedsy will breathe on his own and talk in due course, but still being weined off the assistance whilst his muscles & throat recover. It sounds dramatic but standard elements of a spinal cord injury at this level. It appears he is off to Southport for more specialised help next week as he is currently paralysed below the chest. There are many people now embarking on further efforts to raise funds so please be sure to share & forward to all those who still want & feel the need to contribute.
