Weʼve raised £2,073 to contribute to European-wide action for Informed Consent with HPV vaccination

    Story

We are UK parents of girls who developed serious, disabling and life-changing health problems after their HPV vaccination human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and we believe parents in the UK, and in other countries, are not given enough information to make an informed decision when approached for consent for this vaccination.

We feel we were misled by the lack of information given to us prior to consenting to the HPV vaccination for our daughters. Our subsequent research into the risks and benefits of HPV vaccination has left us shocked and dismayed. We would have made different choices had we been in receipt of the full facts.

It is our goal that every other parent should have the full facts in order to make a truly informed decision.

We are crowdfunding to provide finance for a European lawyer to undertake action, including positive lobbying and a potential legal case, to fight for the right of parents to informed consent with HPV vaccination.

If we raise more funds than is required for this action, the additional monies will be donated to an organisation to support research into HPV vaccine related adverse reactions.

Please support us to support the team fighting for Informed Consent

The Time For Action team would like to thank everyone who has donated to this campaign, and those who sent us private messages of support, whether they were in a position to donate to the campaign or not. When we launched Time For Action and this crowdfunding project, we were a small group of 6 parents. In just a couple of months we've raised nearly £2000 and have amassed support from so many different places - we are completely blown away and can't thank you enough for getting behind us. Now, to get over the £2000 hurdle...

We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read our JustGiving page, to share it on social media and to donate. We can't believe that we've raised 20% of our target so quickly. We started sharing the page less than 24 hours ago and we have you lovely people to thank for getting us this far. We still have funds to raise and will continue sharing and promoting the page - we'll keep you posted. Thank you, so much The Time for Action team xxx

My granddaughter has developed multiple problems following the HPV vaccine. It should not have been offered without telling her the risks. How can this be? MD

The right to good health is what we all aim for, so having informed consent. before accepting a treatment or therapy is essential to wellbeing.
