Story
Cancer is just a word, but one that has affected so many people of all ages and their families all around the world.
This may not be the first type of fundraising for this young lady but the more the merrier is what I say and the world needs to get together to support an amazing young individual that is Alexandra Johnston.
Alexandra Johnston (14) was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma bone cancer in August 2013 and given six months to live but she went through chemotherapy, radiotherapy, intensive care stays and many operations before entering remission at the end of July 2014.
Alex and her family could now move on and try to begin to be positive for their future, however after frequent trips to the hospital and after some niggling pains Alex was re-diagnosed with Cancer in March '16.
To date, she has had cancer in almost every part of her body.
The courageous 14-year-old has recently undergone 30 rounds of chemotherapy and will have scans in November to see how the cancer has reacted to the treatment.
Alexandra astounded medical staff after she was initially given six months to live.
During her treatment, she became a huge fan of the programme Sons of Anarchy, the FX motorcycle club drama.
As a treat, her family organised a special surprise. A video, which has been viewed by thousands of people, captured the moment 30 bikers arrived outside her house.
Today, October 2016 Alexandra is still fighting her cancer.
One in 3 have lost someone to cancer all over the world or know of someone. We too have lost a very close friend who was only in her mid 20's. It effects families, friends, relationships and friendships and against all odds from doctors this young girl is still fighting.
We as people need to get together to support Alex and her family through this tough time in their lives and if we can help fund any part of Alex's dreams and ambitions then we have succeeded.
Please dig deep people and help Alex the Inspiration. Xx
