    Story

During the summer, and through sheer fate, we were presented with a fantastic opportunity to volunteer with 'Inspire Malawi', who aim to support, promote and enhance Primary and Secondary Education in Malawi.

Inspire Malawi runs entirely on money generated through fundraising activities, sponsorship and the kind donations from us, the public.

Inspire Malawi is currently working on a project teaching permaculture gardening in the small village of Mlanda. In a country where malnutrition is rife, permaculture 'permanent agriculture' aims to create sustainable, agriculturally productive and non-polluting and healthy settlements.

We are aiming to play a huge role in this to help educate the children on this subject; provide the tools, knowledge & skills needed to help maintain a sustainable future.

We hold this charity and their work close to our hearts and in particular Michelle Rowe who single handidly founded this charity and has dedicated the past seven years literally building the foundations to where the charity stands now.

We are asking you please help us to raise money to go towards the following:

Repairing damaged areas of the school and decorating existing classrooms

    Supply teaching and learning resources

    Training for the teachers (CPD)

Obtaining resources to source the permaculture project, including buckets, wheelbarrows and seeds.

Any donations would be massively appreciated and we intend to keep you updated along the way with our Facebook and Instagram page which will document our progress in raising funds and also our time in Mlanda over the 2 weeks.

Thank you for taking the time read this and hope we can make a difference to these children's lives.
