Can 100 people give a tenner?

On March 23, 1847, the Indians of the Choctaw nation took up an amazing collection. They raised $170 for Irish Famine relief, an incredible sum at the time worth in the tens of thousands of dollars today. I was personally inspired by this to set up this campaign which hopes to raise €1000 in 60 days accepted from all nations ;) off course!

The United nations recognises the right to clean water, it is vital to medication, vital to agriculture and many forms of manufacturing … More importantly the average life expectancy without water is 3 - 5 days, maybe as long as a week. As droughts increase globally threatening existence the importance of clean accessible water is an imperative.

I'm sure there will be people that don't wish to support this campaign or even don't agree with the camp - that's fine. I'm not interested in writing a huge emotive reason why you should nor am I interested in why you shouldn't. The campaign will either resonate with you or not.

This is just my small attempt to acknowledge what I feel is an important stand and remember the Choctaw nation's support in to Ireland in a time of need, even when they had so little.
