We run a local youth football team for 12 year olds. We have worked hard to secure our own pitch and developed the area into one of the best pitches in north Ayrshire. We have portacabin changing rooms and storage containers. We are constantly bombarded with acts of vandalism and this week suffered a fire which caused around £1000 for repairs. The Money we gather in fees etc is for the boys and running costs but we are increasingly having to use funds for security. Our large storage container suffered damage in the fire and our electric cables along with equipment were damaged as well as a load of materials. We have appealed to the local council for support as we want to help improve our community not let it die a death. We appreciate any assistance no matter how much that is and will be grateful for any support
