    Story

I am 16 years old studying at Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College with the RAF, I am working very hard to attain A Levels in Maths, Physics, Electronics and Design Technology to join the RAF as an Engineering Officer.

I am participating in a voyage organised by the Jubilee Sailing Trust from 29th December 2016 to 5th January 2017, where I will be assisting able-bodied, people with disability, veteran and forces rehabilitation personel to experience life on a working ship.

Including assisting them in a number of activities such as climbing the mast, helming the ship and setting the sails, these expeditions are invaluable in encouraging people of all abilities to work together and understand the difficulties some people have to overcome.

I am raising funds of £2,200 where the first £1,000 will go directly to the trust in order to take part in the voyage, the remaining fund will go towards covering my costs such as flights to meet the ship in Gran Canaria, insurance and other travel expenses. Excess money raisied will of course go directly to the Jubilee Sailing Trust to help them continue their further ventures and the amazing work they do.

In return for any financial assistance you may be able to offer towards my costs, I will be writing about my experience and taking photographs to produce an informative account of my time onboard as part of the Lord Nelson's crew.

Thank you so much to everyone that's donated so far!! I'm so grateful and so happy with the progress. As well as studying for my mock exams over the Christmas holiday, I will also be organising fund raisers to help me towards reaching my target of £2200
