Story

The pupils at Jack Hunt School have over the years been making toys, games and puzzles in school and we then post them over to schools in Watamu in Kenya.

In 2012 we shipped a part load in a container 168 boxes of donated items which included ; Old computers and monitors, Reading books for all ages, Class sets of text books, Footballs, Sports equipment, Clothing, shoes, sportswear, stationary and writing books to name some. All 168 boxes when delivered where given away to 4 local schools and people in the local community.

This time we are going to do the same. Ship a part load filling it with donated items from students, families and the local community. We are currently collecting and will be shipping the part load in May/June this year, to Watamu via Mombasa. Then the whole contents will be given away to the children staff and families of 4 school.

Normally the school would have fund raising activities during the year to raise the money for this project, but this hasn’t been possible. Any help people can give to help pay for shipping and delivery is really appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)
