Story
The JR Memorial fund was set up in memory of John Rogers, a somewhat legendary figure who raised thousands for various charities (his story can be found at https://www.facebook.com/JohnRogersBook/?fref=ts.
John Rogers who passed away in 2013 was a veteran of 2 Para and veteran charities were always close to his heart. He himself was homeless for a year when he came out of the forces.With this in mind JR Memorial Fund have chosen to support 2 veterans charities: A SOLDIERS JOURNEY & UK HOMES 4 HEROES with our tandem sky diving event.
10-15 staff and friends will be taking part in the skydive on Saturday 20 August and we would love to see as many people there supporting them as possible:) We will be selling cakes on the day too to raise more money!:)

6 years agoTHE BAD NEWS ...... Unfortunately the winds were too strong on Saturday 20 August for our 12 jumpers to do the skydive:( We waited until midday but the weather conditions just got worse so we have re-scheduled for Sunday 9 October. THE GOOD NEWS ..... We were disappointed but it means we have more time to raise even more money:) Thank you for all your kind donations and support so far, it really is appreciated:) xx
