In Memory of Julian Lewis-Booth

With heavy hearts, we are raising funds in memory of Julian Lewis-Booth, who passed away on Friday 14th June at the age of 55. To commemorate his life, we aim to name the new 150-seater stand at Stockport Rugby Union Club (Stockport SRUFC), a place he held dear, this will not only be a physical tribute but also a testament to the enduring spirit of our community and the love we all shared for Julian.
Julian was a loving husband to Nikki, an amazing dad to Alex and James, and a wonderful son and brother to Michael and Henry. He was a true, genuine gentleman who touched the hearts of everyone who met and knew him.
Commercial Director at the family business, Stephensons in Stockport, Julian was also a local councillor for Hazel Grove, His big love was rugby. He was a life-long supporter and season ticket holder of the Sale Sharks, and an active member and ex-player of Stockport RUFC. Julian always gave 100% both on and off the field, and he had the pleasure of playing with both of his sons, which was surely a treasured experience for them all.
Julian will be sorely missed, but he will never be forgotten. We greatly appreciate all donations, no matter how large or small, to help us reach our goal and honour him in such a fitting way.
The new stand at Stockport RUFC will be named after him to honour his memory and legacy.
Thank you,
Euan, Andy, Paul, Tim, and Lee.
