For those of you that don't know me, I'm Paul Kane. It's my daughter and her charity Cystic Fibrosis that the money raised from this Fridays golf fundraising day will go towards. We are raising money towards buying a special air flow machine that will help to open up my daughter Megan's airwaves and help to increase her lung function. As it stands just now Megan goes up to hospital every second day to use this machine but the Head Physio spoke to me at the turn of the year to advise me that the time is coming where Megan is becoming more dependant on this machine. This would mean Megan having to go to hospital daily to use the machine. The physio looked into getting a home kit machine but these are currently not on the market in the UK. They do make them in France so the physio has been given the rubber stamp approval to use these kits in the UK. They are expensive but effective so we are at a point in working towards getting the machines and making Megan's life that bit more easier.
