My name is Jayden Smith and I’ve been around American football from the age of 3, watching my father play. I started started playing flag football when I turned 6 and have loved everything about American football ever since moving through both variations on the sport that includes contact (tackle) and flag football.

This sport has opened doors for me I never thought would be available providing me with once in a lifetime opportunities including being recruited to the NFL Academy and now being selected for Great Britain Flag football team.

With the announcement that flag football will be a part of the LA2028 Olympic Games this is amazing for the sport and a lot of young athletes like myself hopeful that we can represent our country on the big stage that is the Olympics, but the first stepping stone for this is the European Youth Championship in Serbia this September.
