Story
We need your support for Jessica and her Journey into recovery...
On January Friday 13th 2017.....
Jessica was walking home from High school. Jessica was walking on the pavement only a few doors down from her family home she shares with her mum, dad and two older sisters in Parr Ashtons Green drive.
When at illegal scrambler motorbike with a 12 year old and a 16 year old who was driving on the one bike crashed the bike into Jessica from behind with such force and speed sending her flying in the air and falling back on the pavement causing a very severe head injury .If this wasn’t traumatic enough the two boys ran off and only got caught after a police hunt with the police helicopter.
She has suffered a very severe head injury, Eye socket Injuries and resulting in Jessica being put into a Coma. The depth of some of her injuries are still unknown so we are unsure how this will affect her in the future.
Jessica has a long road to recovery at a specialist hospital where her parents have not left her side and are sleeping there by her side. She is currently stable and taking very small steps into her recovery.
Jessica……
Jessica has a High attendance record at high school and is very popular with her many friends , family, teachers , neighbours and she was due to do her GCSE this summer.
She was always smiling, laughing and she would light up a room instantly. She was just like a energizer bunny we used to say she was like the tasmanian devil with all her energy. She has the most gorgeous big puppy dog brown eyes.
She would help anyone and has a heart of gold. She has two big sisters who she is very close to and would always be joking and having fun.
So as a family and community we thought we had to do something and set this page up for Jessica with her mum and dads permission there is only this page running as a charity page so all the money goes to straight to Jessica.
Thank you all XX
