This is a once in a life time opportunity for Jodie and others from her school to take part in a month long expedition to Kenya. While there, they will work on several different projects, moving round various camps. There will include teaching local children English, helping build/ repaid schools, or build simple homes for vulnerable locals. They will also assist in various wildlife conservation projects in either Camp Tsavo, or Mwalujange elephant sanctuary. During the trip, the children will acquire and enhance key life skills that will assist them in the transition towards further education. As Jodie wants be become a vet, the work with animals in Kenya will be very valuable when she comes to apply to universities. It's not all work, the group will also get the chance to climb Mount Kenya to watch the sun rise! Truly once in a lifetime stuff!! Jodie plans to do various activities to encourage fundraising, her first challenge being to climb Ben Lomond. Please give what you can to help Jodie go in this potentially life changing trip.
