Story

Hi everyone.

My name is Joseph. I migrated here in England 6 years ago. I work for 2 NHS Trusts as a Senior Radiographer, with the 1st as full-time and 2nd as locum work every weekends. Essentially, I get 1 off day at most. I do this to make ends meet and fund our permanent residency fees and citizenship fees (all figures are available at UK.Gov website). I don't receive any form of help from the Government, if some of you might think. All is funded from the hours of work I put in.

Roughly around 2 months ago, my father Edwin, who lives in the Philippines suffered a life-threatening condition. Neuro Surgeons are fearing that he might be suffering from Glioblastoma Multiforme - a very aggresive tumor in the brain based from his most recent diagnostic imaging. He is due to have the surgery within the next few days. He is unable to talk longer and his right side of the body has complety become paralysed. We have faith in the hands of the team who will operate on him.

Unfortunately, Neuro Surgery is one of the most expensive medical discipline in the Philippines. We are kindly asking for any financial help for the treatment, surgery and post-surgery, and recovery process all together for our father.

Your kind generosity for our father's toughest battle in life, as little as it may be, is highly appreciated by our family.

Thank you and much love,
Joseph
