As part of the 2016 Institute Of Directors £10 Challenge with Nottingham Trent University, we are NTU Team Endeavour, sponsored by KAEFER UK; and our aim is to raise as much money as possible for the John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre.

Around one in three people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. The John and Lucille Van Geest Foundation funded Nottingham Trent University to establish a dedicated cancer research facility.

The centre focuses on:
-Improving the diagnosis and management of breast and prostate cancers.
-Developing effective vaccines and immunitherapies that will significantly improve the survival rates and quality of life for cancer sufferers.
-Discovering the genetic basis of the disease and how cancer works; whilst developing new methods for diagnosing and personalising treatments for cancer .

This is why you will find us running all sorts of activities around NTU, so come and say hi! At KAEFER UK, Rhys Buxton has also agreed to shave his head for charity, and we're sure we can count on all you guys at KAEFER UK for support!
