What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
A representative from Camps International recently came to my collage to talk to us about an expedition to Peru in the Summer of 2018.
During our 4 week stay, we will be helping communities in poverty to build houses and work hard in an effort to improve their day-to-day lives. We will also be spending time to take in the culture and beautiful sights.
The total cost of the trip is £4,175, some of which will go to the communities themselves to help in getting more resources.
In completing the 4 week expedition, I would gain a lot of work experience and 16 UCAS points which will help me to get into University.
I'd love to take this opportunity to help communities in places of poverty and learn about different cultures and lifestyles, it would be the trip of a lifetime!
I hope you can help me reach my goal of £3,000!
