On Sunday 6th of November, we learned we had tragically lost Karen Duffy. For all who knew Karen, she was a vibrant soul with a heart of gold and had time to talk and a hug for everybody. You may also know, that Karen's daughter Nadine broke our hearts on 17th September 2013 when she made the decision to leave this world, we have taken some comfort that Karen can finally be with the daughter she so sorely missed.

Karen has two other beautiful daughters with equally big hearts, Shelley and Leona and a grandson Harvey with an equally cheeky grin. Leona is moving to live with her big sister and her nephew, as her next of kin and we have every faith that Shelley will steer her in the right direction.

I will be doing a skydive on Saturday 19th November. I will do this in Karen's memory, and now that I have a worthy cause - I promise I won't back out!! I am looking for our amazing community to come together and sponsor me. I will be donating all of the funds raised to decorating and furnishing a new bedroom for Leona in her new home!
