My name is Sheree James,
I have never asked for help or support in anything i have ever done, but right now i really need the help of anyone out there who has a heart. I am from a close Cornish family who support each other through anything and who will help each other when ever possible. This cause is very close to my heart and has impacted the family more than i could ever show you or tell you.
My uncle Keith Biggins is 56 years old, has served with the Royal Navy in operations all over the world. Since leaving the Royal Navy he has worked as a civilian engineer. There is not a day in his life he hasn't worked, supporting his beautiful wife Jane and two sons.
Unfortunately our families world came crashing down recently when he suffered a severe stroke to his left hand side. It has been a battle to get where we are now, however, Keith stays positive and tries to keep a smile on his face. I am trying to raise money for home modifications due to reaching out to a number of charities and we are receiving minimal help, if any at all. Keith was a very active man who loved the out doors, and who loved to even go into his garage outside to work on projects, but currently he is sat in doors, sat in his chair due to having no access to the outside and has minimal support in his bathroom. He is a well respected and loved member of the community, he was a keen rugby player for Falmouth RFC and was a leading captain for 14 years. I am raising money to build disability access from his home to the front, garage and garden and to modify his bathroom to help his needs, and to make his life that little bit more easier for him. Unfortunately these are little things we take for granted at being able to do, and to see how they have been ripped away from him at such a young age is absolutely heart breaking.
