Opportunities often arrive for young people involved in the arts and especially in theatre. But, vary rarely are families, or individuals able to afford to take these opportunities. Leaving home, or travelling, is a very costly process, never mind living expenses, travel, and being able to live a normal life in the U.K. Whilst having no money. I'm trying to raise funds to be able to take an opprotunity given to myself and for others in future to be able to taken any opportunities which may arise. Even when accommodation may be paid for, it is very difficult to take these opportunities when you have financial difficulty in the first place, never mind taking it solo.

Even on top of having expenses paid, there are many extra expenses and travel costs which may arise that aren't covered by government funding, or, work experience employers etc.

£1000 for a year sounds like a lot, but, that could be the difference between a young adult kick starting a career in the arts and them regretting not being able to for the rest of their lives.
