Kilburn Cosmos are Brent's only rugby club. The men's first XV finished top of the Herts/Middlesex division 1 table last season to achieve promotion to London 3 North West, but we are also home to two other men's sides and a ladies' team, as well as minis and juniors from under 6 through to under 18.

A fairly young club (founded in 1996) we have grown from humble beginnings with limited resources, relying, as so many community clubs do, on the support of its volunteers and local sponsors.

As our numbers have grown, so has the need for equipment to help develop the skills of players new to the game as well as the more experienced. Occupying a corner of Gladstone Park our space is limited, but with players desperate to learn the art of scrummaging, we have spent the last year trying to raise money for a scrum machine.

The continued effort of the players and volunteer coaches had brought us tantalisingly close to our goal until we suffered a break-in last weekend. Fortunately damage was minimal, but unfortunately the funds we had raised will never be recovered.

We are asking for any small donations from our friends in the local community, and in the wider rugby family, to help us achieve our goal and allow us to continue to spread rugby's message of teamwork, fair play, camaraderie, and service to the community in North West London for years to come.
