Ben & Simon, together with their families, friends and neighbours
have just experienced the most horrifying event of their lives.
They have lived in their peaceful community in Southern Israel
for many, many years. But a few days ago it became the scene of
unspeakable horror.
People were murdered, tortured, held hostage, kidnapped. Houses were burned and destroyed.
Ben and his wife Meyrav were rescued by IDF soldiers from their ‘safe room’as their house burned down all around them. To escape the smoke and flames would have meant certain death. But they’ve lost literally everything.
Simon and his family were rescued after 24 hours.
