I have spent the past few months helping a local football team which has been a part of our community for many years. I joined to try and help in any way i could and have commited many hours fixing problems and working to get the club ship shape again. The gent that has been running the club for the past 30 years has commited a huge part of his life to local football and has always worked hard to ensure the club is financially viable. Sadly his wife has been very ill over the past 18 months and subsequently he has been unable to do everything he used too. As things stand it looks very bleak. We are in need of vital equipment, kit and Balls to enable us to carry on running. The kit we currently have is in no fit state to play but we have no choice but to use it until we can find a way of funding a new one. We have tried various sponsors but sadly people are not in the position to help. Please help us keep this little football club running for many years to come. Once we have equipment needed we are hoping to be able to attract more players back to the club to ensure we are once again running as we should. thank you for reading
