Hi guys Kirsty is a 20yr old woman who was told she would never reach 1yrs old, I'll explain.
When Kirsty was 24 weeks gestation she was Bourne naturally but feet first.
The doctor that delivered her pulled her feet so hard he broke her spine and now she is paralysed from T7. When she was Bourne the bottom half of her body was black and it was 10 days before we knew there was a problem because we wasn't aloud to touch her, over the coming weeks we where told about bleeding in her brain and all sorts of problems far to many to write on here. Anyway her mum and I was told if she made 1years old we should feel blessed and the year came and went then they said the same when she was 5yrs old and she lived.
Kirsty was Bourne in Chatham hospital and not long after she was Bourne it closed, in the move of paper work the NHS lost some of her notes so a court case for Kirsty was never possible for Kirsty.
Like I say Kirsty is now 20 and has many medical problems but she has now started a course in college and the money raised will go towards a car for her.
