The Knoxwood Hospital is a great facility, but their lifesaving electrical heat pads and lamps are old and out of date and many have had to be thrown away as they are no longer suitable or safe. I have found out about these stunning new Intensive Care Units other sanctuaries use and I really want Knoxwood to have one! (or a dozen!!! lol) BUT they are £427 for just one of the small basic ones and £560 for a bigger one! These units are thermostat controlled and will make managing exposure and starvation treatment (not to mention keeping orphans warm and safe) much more effective.
