Story
Thank you for visiting this page. Just by being here you are making a difference. All donations, shares and support is greatly appreciated.
We are raising funds to have mental health awareness slogans printed on beer mats, posters and billboards. They are being handed out in pubs/restaurants/cafes across The North East with the potential to reach even more places.
We are looking to raise as much as possible to keep the campaign going. Our target is currently £10,000. Every £1,200 raised will allow us to have 5,000 beer mats printed and shipped. Any donation large or small will be greatly appreciated.
The beer mats and posters include a QR code which can be quickly scanned and will direct to an URGENT national and local helpline page. Samaritans UK.
Donations received will go towards having the slogans printed on beer mats/posters to be distributed across the UK.
Kyle’s Story...
On Sunday the 4th of October 2020 our community was left shaken by the devastating news that Kyle Dilks 'smiler' had sadly taken his own life. A lad who was always smiling and always up for a pint so we are raising money to get mental health awareness beer mats out there in memory of our Kyle.
We writing this from the bottom of so many hearts - There will never be another like Kyle, he was truly one of a kind. He had a beautiful spirit like no other, the most gentle soul with the most incredible energy. He had the most infectious smile, you couldn’t help but smile when he was near, he lit up the room wherever he went. You will forever be in our hearts. We are all heartbroken that he was in so much pain, no one deserves to feel this way. Let’s try to end the silence today.
Please help us to remember Kyle's life for all the joy he brought to so many lives by raising awareness for this cause. If one life can be saved from this that would give us all something to smile about.

Statistics:
Sadly, depression and suicide rates have been rising rapidly year after year across the UK. With 2020 seeing the highest amount of reported cases since 2004.
Statistics from papyrus-uk.org state that suicide is the biggest killer of under 35’s in the UK.
UK statistics show that young men are 3 times more likely to feel depressed and commit suicide than young women. Gov.uk https://rb.gy/jndawu
These statistics are devastating and many charities are worried about a growing trend as Mental Health funding is cut again across the NHS.
If you have a pub, restaurant, cafe, salon or shop in the North East and would like to get involved. Please contact Kelly or Corey to receive some of our beer mats.
