Story
Ward 23 at the LGI (Head and Neck) are walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks.
Thats over 26miles in one day.
All funds raised will be used to help the ward buy new or update some essesntial equipment.
Our ward look after many different types of patients but our long-term patients are usually the head and neck surgical cancer patients. They tend to have tracheostomies and this often require special nursing care.
Our ward staff are amazing however they're in desperate need of equipment which is reliable and up-to-date.
Head and Neck cancer is happening now, lets try and raise more awarness. Please donate whatever you can.
