Whilst in Tenerife in April, my partner Steve went to put some rubbish in the bins up the road, when he opened it, 3 kittens jumped out up his arm and ran away. In July when we returned we found the cats living in our garden overnight, but they disappeared during the day. Then we returned in October and found just one cat was still living in our garden, this time she did not run away. The cat was being fed by the lady across the road, Jane. the cat was very friendly and instantly adopted us! We considered that she belonged to someone, but the cat never left the garden. We even stopped feeding her for one day to watch, and she just stayed. So now that we have had to go back to the UK, we are hoping to get her here. However the costs are horrendous! I have looked around and found a company who will do it, she has had to be spayed, chipped, immunised etc etc. that all cost about £150 and the fare is £540 approx. Final medical checks and passport prices I do not have as yet, but we are hoping to raise some money towards all this to give her a chance of life here!
