What is crowdfunding?

Story
We really need help to provide Louise with a new box. She's a dedicated mother to 2 boys, who spends all her money providing for them. Unfortunately due to this, her box has not been updated since 1950, & we are concerned she may get too excited one day & find herself with a splinter.
