From this September Leithen Vale Sports Club will be fielding full eleven-a-side team at Under 13 (S1) age group for the first time in a generation. LVSC will play in the South East Region against teams from Edinburgh and the Lothians, as there is no Borders league for this age group. The club are raising funds to cover some of the additional costs – the use of paid referees, a home and a second away strip, cost and hire of larger pitches, goals, balls for training and matches, additional travel. On Saturday 16 April the whole Leithen Vale Sports Club P7 squad climbed Lee Pen at 502m, and at the top took shots at goal
