At 8 yes old, my son was diagnosed with aspergers syndrome, this was after yrs of me taking him to g.p, hospital and countless meetings at nursery,schools.
Due to him presenting as "high functioning" in school, it was decided by professionals that he wouldn't need a "statement of educational needs" which ensures his needs are met in school.
My son is exceptionally intelligent and always has been, for his age, key being history, language geography. However,has exceptionally high anxiety and panic disorder... Has suffered terrible abuse and bullying throughout his life,has caused depression and even suicidal thoughts as the bullying so intense,, because of this I have had to fight for help, turning to many agencies with no help.... Its been 9 yrs fighting. A few weeks ago he was attacked in school. After many talks with school, my son wants to home school. He is adapting well. GCSEs are £315 Each
I want him to surviveand thrive from this mad, crazy time and my son has faced such trauma and adversity. Can you help him achieve his goals
The problem is he is a good good boy, polite, respectful and honest, hardworking and he "conforms" even when it's impossible.... He has meltdowns..., at home, where he is safe. Because it isn't apparent at school.... There's no problem!! Yet when he is home he suffers niteterrors and sleep walking , can't be left on his own and is a nervous wreck.
A few weeks ago , my son was attacked bytwo bboys at school, strangled, held down and punched. Nothing was done in way of punishing the culprits, after many meetings with the school and no justice or adequate plan for my sons return,.. He has begged me to not return and to home school him. After 2 days home school he has completed 2 courses on an online course, however, the course isn't accredited. He needs to get his GCSEs, which are £315 each, online course, which includes tutoring and assessment for final grades x which would give him a chance in life.... I feel because my son "isn't "d
