Weʼve raised £573 to place a Bench with brass plaque along the bank of the River Thames (Kingston) in memory of our friend Tim Mileson.

Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom
Funded on Sunday, 15th January 2017

    Story

Tim Mileson was his name. A name which we wish to honour and remember. Unfortunately Tim was taken from this world far too soon.
Myself and many others met and were befriended by Tim at Kingston university. A Drama student who carried a theatrical aura with him in all aspects of life. A lover of music, football, writing and so much more. He enriched our lives with his presence, smile and contagious laughter.

Many an hour were spent sat along the banks of the Thames usually over beer and a cigarette, before, after and sometimes during lectures and games of pool.

I hope we can raise enough to have a Bench installed in a place where Tim enjoyed life and we were lucky enough to enjoy it with him. The amount requested will cover the bench, installation, engraved brass plaque and ten years of maintenance.

All contributions will be gratefully received no matter how big or small.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any donations which you may make.

Thanks everyone. We have reached the 25% Mark. It's still in need of more though. Try think up some fund raising ideas and let friends of Tim know about this page. Apparently Kingston Council are doing lots of work along along the Thames so hopefully we will have a shiny new promenade to pop Tim's bench on. Thanks for your kind donations. Big Love. Asher

Thanks for all of the donations. So far we're doing well. Nearly a quarter of the way there. Here is a link to the Kingston Council page so you can see what it is that we will be purchasing in Tim's memory. https://www.kingston.gov.uk/info/200378/parks_and_open_spaces/1193/buy_a_memorial_bench
