Story

Lesley has worked with us at Broadoak Kitchens for the last 15 years. She has been diagnosed with Terminal Kidney Cancer. Our hearts are broken, why does this happen to the best people? She is a positive, kind and hardworking person who will do anything for anyone. We would like to raise some money to give directly to Lesley so that she can choose to do with it as she wishes.

My son Dan is shaving his hair off to raise money and there is a group of us cycling around Washington aiming to do 50 Miles in one day. We would love it if you could sponsor us per mile or just a set amount, any donations will be graciously received.

Thankyou everybody that has donated, it will mean so much to Lesley. I'm keeping the JustGiving page open until Saturday the 11th November as people are still donating. Dan has raised £260, The Keys head shaving and Waxing has raised £216, Bike ride sponsors were £170. In total that will be £3130 as it stands today. Again thankyou so much.

Thank you so much for the donations so far, much appreciated. As well as the bike ride and Dan shaving his hair of we have Stuart from the Cross Keys Waxing his chest hair off! Minimum £10 donation per strip pull. We will do it at the same time as Dan is going bald, Saturday 28th Oct around 4 or 5 pm as soon as we have finished the bike ride.
