Hi everyone, thank you for clicking on my Just Giving page. As you will see from the title of this post, I plan to take on the London to Brighton Bike challenge on September 17th 2017.

Why am I doing this?

In May 2016, Princess Zoe was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour called DIPG. After completing radiotherapy here in the U.K. Princess Zoe, Emily and Sylvain will now travel to Mexico for further treatment. Forecasted costs for treatment, travel and living is as much as 40K, any support towards this will be greatly appreciated!

Why is this important?

Raising as much money as possible is important to me as Sylvain has been a key individual (and friend) to me in my basketball playing/coaching career. I still remember the day, like it was yesterday, when Sylvain announced of Emily being pregnant with Princess Zoe.

So much fantastic fundraising has already taken place to support treatment and make memories. I feel that now, more than ever, I want to make an impact, make a difference and overall ensure this family get whatever is needed to overcome the challenges.

The Challenge

The London to Brighton Bike Challenge consists of a 54 mile ride from Clapham Common, London to Madeira Drive, Brighton seafront. For some of you reading this you may think a 54 mile bike ride is not actually that far (in comparison to a lot of other charity rides) but this will be my first ever bike ride challenge.

All in all, I would greatly appreciate if you can dip into your pocket for as little or as much as possible to donate to my cycle from London to Brighton in support of Princess Zoe, Emily Lee and Sylvain Donneaud.
