1 Million KG's in 8 Hours!
Flintshire Foodbank provide an invaluable service to the local community and something that we feel is not only very close to our hearts but also immensely important in the current economic climate.
The numbers speak for themselves in relation to the impact the foodbank has on the Flintshire population:
11,573 people received a food parcel from Flintshire Foodbank between April 22 and March 23.
4,998 of those were children!!
Flintshire foodbank has also seen a 47% increase in the number of emergency food parcels distributed compared to last year - the most parcels the foodbank has ever provided.
So the members at Number One HSP have decided it's time to try and give something back to support the foodbank. The coaches and members are aiming to lift 1 million kilograms in 8 hours!
They will only be allowed to do this using these exercises:
- Bench Press
- Squat
- Deadlift
- Pull Ups
