After the success of last years event, we would love to bring the community together again & spread some festive cheer.

As you already know the local authority no longer fund the Christmas lights. However with a little team work and some festive spirit we can create our own winter wonder land.

Christmas lights are very expensive as we are not only paying for the lights but them to be erected, inspected and supplied with electricity. Last year we raised just over £2000 and this paid for 12 rope lights.

This year we would need to replace the old lights with 12 new LED lights which will cost 5,000. We would really love to purchase more if we can.

BUT THE GOOD NEWS is:
The Newbridge Partnership board have kindly offered to match fund any money we raise specifically for the lights, which is fantastic. So this will greatly reduce the overall amount required to £2,500 to replace all the lights. The additional £500 will then go towards the grand Light Switch On event.

Also the Memo have been a wonderful support and as well as providing us with a meeting space, they have offered us the entire building for free for the event.
