Story
Lilley Cricket Club is a small community sports club that has been in existence since c1895, and in its current guise since 1976. Rising costs for insurance, equipment maintenance, grass cutting and other essentials make it harder each year to keep the club going for the players and supporters who so enjoy the grassroots cricket played every Sunday.
Run by a small but highly committed band of volunteers who do everything from maintain the square, prepare pitches, strim boundaries, repair fences, keep the pavilion clean and 101 other vital tasks, the future of the club constantly hangs in the balance due to limited finances. Help us raise at least £1000 to secure the future of the club for another season and contribute to vital upgrades in equipment or facilities.
