Hi All, for a number of years we have been trying to help provide lily with a full wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom facility to meet her needs, with the help of a disabled facilities grant from the local authority we are getting closer, however the grant does not cover the full value of the build and with the increased building costs we find ourself a long way off this figure. Lily needs specialist bathroom facilities which are very expensive and we are reaching out to our friends and family and the wider community for help. The extension is life changing for Lily and gives her the dignity and privacy she needs as she becomes a young adult.
