Some peoole have a bucket list and l have had one thing on my bucket list for years, that is to do the Camino to Santiago walk for my 70th.

At 70 we had lock down then last year l had a stroke but l was determined still to walk the Camino. This year l will walk the Camino in September. Beginning the 7th sept to the 12th from A Coruna to Santiago. I have already walked the 35km in Durham which was needed to add to the 75km in Spain making 110km total needed.

I wanted a good cause to raise funds for and with the sadness of The Little Sisters of the Poor nursing home in Leeds having been pulled down because of RAAC l thought it would be a good cause. None of us know what kind of help we will need in our later years and the love and dedication the Little Sisters of the Poor give to anyone in need is beyond anyone's expectations. So we can all help towards building a new nursing home for the Little Sisters of the Poor in Leeds. Please give what ever you can. Thank you so much and God Bless you.
