I'm raising £7500 to go towards the cost of putting on this year's Littlehampton bonfire night after Littlehampton Town Council pulls funding.

This free event is organised entirely by a committee of volunteers, not by the council as many people believe. No one on the committee or it's members make a single penny from the society, and without dedicated members and volunteers, the society simply wouldn't exist.
Recently, LTC has pulled funding from the event, leaving the society an additional £7,500 to find. We already raise around £25,00 each year.
As well as making a donation, we would be very grateful if you could contact Littlehampton Town Council and ask them to reconsider their decision.
The costs of putting on the event generally increase each year, and are now in the region of £30,000. To meet these costs, the society's volunteers work hard throughout the year to fundraise.
Organising and staging the event is hard work, but we have a lot of fun along the way. Please consider also becoming a member. Membership is cheap, and enables you to get more actively involved, including attending a number of social events. Please join us. Thank you.
